Corruption is when you are dishonest enough to lie to Nigerians about how poor you are
only to later declare assets running into billions of naira.
Corruption is when you tell the world you were so poor you had to take a bank loan to
buy your nomination form to run for President only for Nigerians to discover your wife
wore a £34,500 Cartier wristwatch to your Presidential inauguration.
Mr. President, corruption is when you give Nigerians the impression that you are nothing
but a ‘low-key’ pastoral farmer in Daura with only 150 cows only for Nigerians to
discover that you own a property in Asokoro valued at over N2 billion.
Mr. President, corruption is when you give instructions that your Ministers are banned
from flying first class flights only for Nigerians to discover that your 16-year old
daughter Hanan flew first class on a British Airways round trip from London to Abuja.
Mr. President, nothing can be more fantastically corrupt than this “do as I say, but don’t
do as I do” specie of corruption.
The millions of hardworking Nigerians who have never worked in government, have
never stolen a dime of government money, have never been beneficiaries of proceeds
of corruption and are going about their legitimate businesses deserve an apology from
you. You have no right to call them corrupt. Mr. President, you have no right.
CORRUPTION IS WHEN YOU LIE THAT THE SECRETARY OF THE MILITARY BOARD IS IN
POSSESSION OF YOUR ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE WHEN WAEC OFFICE IN GHANA HAS
NO RECORD OF SUCH
CORRUPTION IS WHEN YOU DISHONESTLY CLAIM THAT ABACHA NEVER STOLE WHEN
THE SAME ABACHA LOOT IS AMONG THOSE YOU ASK TO BE REPATRIATED
CORRUPTION IS WHEN YOU THREATEN BLOODSHED IF YOU
LOSE AN ELECTION (MORAL DEPRAVITY)
CORRUPTION IS NEPOTISM, FAVOURITISM AND CRONYISM
CORRUPTION IS DISOBEYING COURT ORDERS
BUHARI IS GUILTY OF ALL THE ABOVE.
GRAFT IS ONLY ONE TENTH OF CORRUPTION
STOP DECEIVING IGNORANT AND GULLIBLE NIGERIANS
Corruption is a form of dishonest or unethical conduct by a person entrusted with a
position of authority, often to acquire personal benefit.[1] Corruption may include many
activities including bribery and embezzlement, though it may also involve practices that
are legal in many countries.[2] Government, or 'political', corruption occurs when an
office-holder or other governmental employee acts in an official capacity for personal
gain.
The word corrupt when used as an adjective literally means "utterly broken".[3] The
word was first used by Aristotle and later by Cicero who added the terms bribe and
abandonment of good habits.[4][dubious – discuss] Stephen D. Morris,[5] a professor
of politics, writes that [political] corruption is the illegitimate use of public power to
benefit a private interest.
